- This weapon appears to be based on the Russian PYa (Pistolet Yarygina - Yarygin pistol), which was code named "Grach" (meaning "rook" in Russian) It is a 9mm semi automatic pistol in current service with the Russian military and law enforcement. It has a unique feature in that it is designed to be able to fire a special 9x19mm round which produces significantly more pressure inside the chamber than NATO 9x19mm rounds.
